On one of the first days we went hiking is the hills of Broumov. Here atop one of the hills was a castle made by bandits. The locals paid them to leave the area and then demolished the castle. It was quite a hike to get to the top of this hill, but a very nice view from the top.

While we were up there taking a little rest I took some pictures our group. Here is Lien and Sanna:

I think Kosaku, true to habit, sprinted to the top of the stair cased hill, he'd been there for a few minutes soaking up the view when the rest of us fat bastards caught up to him.

Moniko, who we see here is seriously contemplating when she will have her next meal.. with meat. The color comes back into her face and life is once again in balance.

Here on the patio in the morning we would find that the good doctor would leave us some goodies to munch on before we headed off to the brewery. I caught Lien out here one morning really hamming it up, trying to kiss my camera!

I also caught Moniko enjoying the morning. Here she sits content with some bread.. some meat will be coming later in the day!

Everyone was pretty much up by this time. Here we see Sanna commenting on me taking a picture of her so early in the morning. Next to her is Marieke writing her address in the good doctor's book.

After getting pictures of everyone that morning I made my way into town to take a few pictures. This is the town square.. location of a lot of silly, unspeakable acts.

I thought I was alone on my picture taking quest when Lien suddenly jumped into my shot and began to dance a little jig. Silly little Belgian girl.

Now down to some work. The pivovar.. that's brewery for all you non Czech speaking people. This is where we spent a majority of out time. The stones are the result of Kosaku and I beating the shit out of the bricked up windows of the basement.

Here is the back of the brewery. The stack is the hay and other junk we removed from a room the first two days. You can also see some of the weeds and other unwanted plant life we removed.

Our last day of real work we had some of the local student come and help us out to beat up the plant life. On the far left is Michelle.. future economist and a way cool lady.

After all the hard work for two weeks we enjoyed some beer. Lien wasn't paying attention to anyone since she had her beer ears on!
