| After leaving Stratford-upon-avon I went out to Bangor and hung out for a few days. While
I was out there I spent some time walking around a few of Edward I's castles.
Both of the castles I visited were never finished. The photo's turned out
better here in Caernarfon.
First, the evening before I was teaching a few of the English students how to apply some technique to arm wresting. Here we see James and Oliver. The English are obviously impressionable, 8^). The castle in Caernarfon is a large castle.. probably Edward I's largest. This is a shot of the interior from the far end, opposite the Queen's gate. The arrow slits here at Caernarfon were very large.. you could stand in them very easily. Some where meant for three longbows men! |
