was a real blast, but I wanted to catch the 1 May gig in Oxford, where
thousands gather for the morning madrigals and to watch students jump into
the Isis.
Here is a picture of the tower at Magdalene College where they sing the madrigals.
There are literally thousands there hanging out in the streets at 6:00am. It was nice and chilly for most of us.
After the festivities some students usually jump into the Isis, but not this year. The Thames police had the bridge blocked off for the madrigals. About 30 minutes later the police opened the bridge and people attempted to get silly but not one made it into the Isis.
