München, Germany

Home Up

After leaving Slovenia and on my way to visit Gábor I stopped for a few days in München, Germany to hang out with Jona.  We had a great time getting silly in his apartment in the evening and walking around lovely Munich during the day.

While we were not partying and getting absolutely crazy we were viewing the great Slovenia countryside.  One day we took a little trip into the mountains where I tried my hand at mountaineering.  I didn't make the summit, maybe next time!

While I was there in Munich with Jona it was very cold.  We stayed warm during the day by visiting some really cool museums.  The first was the Zentrum fur Aussergewohnliche Museen with a lot of cool things:

After leaving the Zentrum we headed for the most incredible museums on planet earth!  The Deutsches Museum.  This museum traces the development of science and technology from it's origins to the present day.  There are more than 50 exhibitions covering a floor area of over 46,000 m2 !  I think most people would not believe this museum exists with it's fighter jets, mines, submarines, etc.
