Return to Praha

Home Up

If I had to pick one large city to live in, high on the list would have to be Praha, Czech Republic.  As a fellow traveler commented to me, the transportation is clean and efficient, the food is really fantastic, the women are beautiful and the city is entrenched in culture.   Praha is really a beautiful city as is evident from the following photos.

I spent quite a few mornings and afternoons across the Valtava and up at the Castle.  Here are several pictures of the church within the castle walls.

There are a lot of really cool hostels in Praha.  My best advice to someone thinking about staying in Praha for a few days, weeks or months is to try a few different hostels.  The Praha, or Prague Hostel Advantage is a really fantastic place, located close to the I.P. Pavlova metro station.  It has a variety of rooms with a real kickass restaurant below, they even cook vegetarian and vegan food, and have some great beer at really decent prices.  I forget this receptionists name, but they were all really, very nice people.  Even if you don't stay, the restaurant is a great place for lunch and/or dinner.  The staff can tell you all sorts of things about the Czech culture, food, places to visit and where to have a good time.
